Formal Documents Governing NRP Operations

This document lists formal documents that govern establishment and operations of repositories and services in the National Repository Platform (NRP).

It is intended for reference of (future) repository administrators as a collection of relevant resources.

Overview of Procedures and Principles

Kindly refer to the description of establishing repositories in the NRP as a service for basic understanding of the principles.

We then recommend getting familiar with Conditions for Creating New and Modifying Existing Thematic Repositories in the National Repository Platform. It gives an overview of necessary roles and responsibilities when running a repository in the NRP.

Formal Documents

Main formally binding documents governing the operation of the National Repository Platform are the following:

• Terms and Conditions for operating repositories in the NPR (valid from 23 March 2026) (in Czech)
  • history of older versions of the document will be kept here
• Contract Proposal between the Repository Administrator and the Infrastructure (current version, in Czech)
• cybersecurity of the infrastructure is bound by principles described by CESNET (in Czech) and also available in English.
